The Southland boys basketball team picked up a 73-64 win over Fillmore Central (6-10 overall, 2-8 Three Rivers) on the road Friday.

Josh Anderson had 20 points for the Rebels (6-8 overall, 4-7 Three Rivers) and Thomas Bottema had 14 points off the bench.

“They made runs at us, but we kept our poise. All in all, we played hard tonight,” Southland head coach Matt Webber said.
