A Mower County woman was treated after a crash on a slick portion of Highway 63 in Olmsted County on Wednesday.

Ashley Kidwell, 33, of Racine was taken to St. Marys Hospital after a northbound 2015 International truck lost control, slid into the southbound lanes and struck the 2006 Dodge Caravan Kidwell was driving at around 4:52 p.m., according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

Kidwell’s injuries were listed as non life-threatening.

Plaisir Ivens, 29, of Evanston, Illinois, was driving the truck and was not injured.

Road conditions at the time of the crash were listed as icy. Both vehicles were totaled.

Grand Meadow Ambulance and Stewartville Fire and Rescue assisted the Minnesota State Patrol on the scene.
