New urgent care hours begin in Austin Jan. 2

As of Jan. 2, Mayo Clinic Health System in Austin will offer more consistent hours at its Urgent Care clinic.
Urgent Car will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekends and holidays, patients can now receive care.
The new Urgent Care hours seek to offer more consistent and increased provider availability on weekdays, weekends and holidays. Urgent Care shares an entrance with the Emergency Department at Mayo Clinic Health System in Austin on the south side of the building, just off Eighth Place Northwest.
Once patients check in they will be triaged by a registered nurse to determine the appropriate care needed based on signs and symptoms.
Mayo Clinic Health System also offers the opportunity to connect with a care team 24 hours a day through Patient Online Services.
