MAPLEWOOD — A former mayor of Maplewood has been cited for theft following accusations that she took a public copy of a budget book and meeting agenda from City Hall.
Police say Diana Longrie took the materials on Dec. 14 after a City Council meeting. Much of the information in the packets is available on the city’s website. But, Police Chief Paul Schnell says the hard copies cost about $100.
Longrie denies stealing the material. She served as Maplewood mayor from 2005 to 2009. She ran for the job again in 2013, but lost to the incumbent.
