ROCHESTER, Minn. — Rochester police have seized nearly three pounds of meth from the FedEx terminal at the city’s airport.
FedEx employees noticed a suspicious package and contacted authorities Friday. A drug-sniffing dog alerted police that the package contained narcotics.
The Star Tribune reports police obtained a search warrant and opened the package to find methamphetamine worth about $127,000.
Police arranged a controlled delivery to the recipient, a California man, at a Rochester hotel. He was arrested after accepting the package.
