WINONA— Investigators believe a man fatally shot at a Winona apartment was targeted by two assailants.

Police say a 31-year-old man was shot in the torso Sunday about 1 p.m. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities say two male suspects demanded money before shooting the man and fleeing in a vehicle.
