Mower Refreshed is getting the community involved in health care.

The group hopes to engage with community members for an informal conversation and lunch focused on equipping everyday healthcare consumers on health spending accounts from 12 to 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Historic Hormel Home.

Some of the questions they will explore include:

Email newsletter signup

—HSA’s: What are they?

—What is the difference between a high deductible health plan (HDHP) and an HSA?

—Why would you or your employer want to move to an HSA?

—What are the minimum and maximum out of pockets for 2016?

—What about maximum funding limits?

—Embedded deductibles vs non-embedded deductibles

—Does my employer need to fund a part of my HSA deductible?

—Can I keep the money in my HSA Account at the end of the year?

—What about prescription medications?
