The Blooming Prairie football team moved within one win of a District title when it beat United South Central (3-4 overall) 18-6 in BP Friday.

Lucas Noble threw a 45-yard TD pass to Kevin Eischens to get the scoring started with 10:49 left in the second quarter and Anthony Nelson had a five-yard TD run with 22 seconds left in the first half.

BP (6-1 overall) will play for the District title at Kenyon-Wanamingo 7 p.m. Thursday.
