Business seeking concrete permit from county board

The Mower County board is set to hear an update on an emergency management training and a request for a business to add new services.
Emergency Management Coordinator Amy Lammey is scheduled to update the board about the couny’s livestock trailer rollover training during the county board’s regular meeting slated for 1 p.m. Tuesday in the basement of the government center at 201 First St. NE in Austin.
The board will also hear a permit request from Roger and Sons for storing, crushing and processing concrete materials in Lansing Township.
The board will also discuss a remodeling project at the Mower County Historical Society and upgrades to cameras in the jail.
