ST. PAUL — More than 300 protesters participated in an anti-abortion rally designed to encourage Minnesota Gov. Mark Dayton to investigate Planned Parenthood.

The rally was held Sunday outside the Planned Parenthood clinic in St. Paul as part of an effort to convince Dayton to look into allegations that the nonprofit is selling fetal tissue for medical research. The allegations stem from videos showing national Planned Parenthood officials discussing fetal body parts.

Brian Gibson of Pro-Life Action Ministries tells the St. Paul Pioneer Press that the videos have galvanized the anti-abortion movement.

A group of about 75 Planned Parenthood supporters staged a counter-protest nearby.
