A purse is missing after a car window was smashed early Friday morning.

According to Police Chief Brian Kreuger, officers responded to Fifth Street and West Oakland Avenue a little after 1 a.m. to meet with a victim who’s purse was stolen from her vehicle.

The woman said she parked her car at about 10:30 p.m. Thursday and when she returned found the driver’s side window smashed out and her large, black and camouflage purse, along with a black wallet with pink trim, various cash, credit cards and her ID were gone.

There are no suspects at this time and the investigation is ongoing.
