Austin police would like everyone to watch out for small no parking signs over the next few weeks as street construction crews complete road sealing projects.

Police Capt. Dave McKichan urged residents to obey the small no parking zone signs that will be installed near road sealing construction projects throughout the city this summer.

“We ask people to watch for those signs when they’re parking,” McKichan said.

In addition, residents who are going on longer vacations should get their cars parked off the street, if possible, to avoid future road sealing projects.
