Kenneth “Kenny” Wayne McRoberts, 71, was born March 31, 1944, in Austin, Minnesota, to Lyle and Marion (Mossyge) McRoberts. Kenny rode off into the sunset at the Double Bar M Ranch on July 18, 2015.

He was raised in LeRoy, Minnesota, where he graduated from LeRoy High School in 1961. Kenny was the Cardinal Quarterback and also played basketball. On May 15, 1965, he was united in marriage to Mary Feather at the First Presbyterian Church in LeRoy. Together they raised three children, Dave, Clint and Brenda. Kenny worked as the warehouse manager for Martz Furniture in LeRoy for 28 years. After retirement, he worked for Travel Lanes in LeRoy. Kenny managed the LeRoy Softball League for many years and was an active member and president of the LeRoy Saddle Club. He was also an active member of the Pharaohs Car Club. Kenny was an avid Minnesota Vikings Fan and also enjoyed spending time in his barn with his horses. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends on his ranch.

He is survived by his wife Mary of LeRoy; his children; Dave (Jill) McRoberts of Kasson, Minnesota, Clint (Lynn) McRoberts of Harmony, Minnesota, and Brenda (Jason) Hofner of Le Roy; 11 grandchildren; Natasha, Michele, Jennifer, Shawn, Katrina, Kayla, Erika, Jade, Haley, Emily and Rylie. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren and his mother, Marion McRoberts of LeRoy; and sisters, Fern (George) Dohlman and Lila (Bill) Feather both of LeRoy and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Lyle McRoberts.

Memorial services for Kenny W. McRoberts will be held 10 a.m. Thursday July 23, 2015, at the First Presbyterian Church in LeRoy with Pastor Gary Titusdahl officiating. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Hindt Funeral Home in LeRoy and will continue for one hour prior to the service at the church.
