The Austin City Council will talk chickens, dogs and more at its upcoming meeting this Monday.
Council members will review a potential ordinance to for residents to keep chickens within city limits during their work session Monday.
The policy could limit residents to keep no more than five hens and require those who want to raise chickens to get permission from their neighbors before they could receive a yearly license to raise chickens.
The city studied several ordinances last year when the council first discussed the chicken issue, but council members tabled a potential ordinance in June 2014.
The council will also hear a dangerous dog appeal during its public meeting.
The council meeting starts at 5:30 p.m. inside City Council Chambers.
