Vandals allegedly shot a BB gun at a parked car in the Rodeway Inn parking lot in Austin Tuesday.

Police Chief Brian Krueger said the victim reported people in a silver sedan allegedly shot at him while he worked on his car in the hotel parking lot at about 9:15 p.m. Tuesday.

Neither the victim nor his car appeared to have been struck. The silver car, possibly a Honda model, was last seen driving southbound on Highway 218.

Krueger said there are no suspects at this time.
