Duplicate Bridge

Tournament results for June 10, five tables played: First place, Orrion Roisen and Dave Ring; second place, Marilyn Gesme and Romelle Enderson; third place, Millie Seiver and Bud Higgins; fourth place: Vandy Newman and Dr. Gene Muchow.

Duplicate Bridge is played each Wednesday at noon at the Mower County Senior Center in Austin. All Bridge players are welcome. Call Dave Ring at 507-434-4189.

 Golden Age Club

The latest meeting was conducted by Everett DeYoung. Elaine Reynolds, chaplain, gave a neat reading titled, “I’m Fine for the Shape I’m In.” It’s true of us all.

Sylvia Ginder gave the secretary report. Ruth Van Hooser gave the treasurer report, reporting a balance of $697.22.

Motions accepting the secretary and treasurers report, first by Sally Michaels, seconded by Roman Kikuts. Lunch was served by Arlys Spurlin. No new business or old business was reported.

June birthdays celebrated by Ruth Van Hooser, Denny Bray and Vernon Ginder. Joan Anderson celebrated a June anniversary. Anyone 55 years or older can join the club.
