MINNEAPOLIS — Prosecutors in Minneapolis have dismissed most of the charges filed in connection with last month’s water balloon attack on riders of a pedaling pub.

City Attorney Susan Segal says there wasn’t enough evidence to continue with the cases against four men.

Minnesota Public Radio News reports (http://bit.ly/1LtLfPm ) that during a hearing Tuesday, Segal said prosecutors couldn’t match up individuals with the conduct. However, a fifth man still faces fifth-degree assault and disorderly conduct charges, and a sixth man could also be charged.

The men were allegedly involved in two attacks on pedal pubs in May. Police say they sprayed a driver and passengers with water guns and threw water balloons.

There were no injuries. But a Twin Cities PedalPub manager has said it was potentially dangerous.
