The Austin Reichel Foods All-Stars won the 11-year old tourney in Albert Lea and qualified for the state MSF tournament.

The stars beat three teams in reaching the title game, where they topped New Prague. Jared Lillemon had a bases loaded hit to give the Stars the lead in the title game, Riley Eickhoff hit a grand slam for the Stars.

This weekend the Reichel Stars will be in the 37th annual Youth International tournament. Play begins Saturday morning at the Todd Park North Diamonds and admission is free.

The CMG All-Stars went 3-1 in St. Michael and they will compete in the International tournament Saturday.The Austin VFW 14-year old All-Stars went 1-3 after they beat Waseca in their final game of the Eagles-VFW tournament at Riverland.

The VFW will host the state tournament in July.

The Eagles All-Stars took second place in the Rochester 16 team tournament. The squad went 5-1 and the lost the title game to Chanhassen.
