The Hayfield baseball team split a doubleheader at Pine Island Saturday.

The Vikings won the first game 3-0 behind a one-hit shutout by Aaron Younge and they dropped the second game 7-4.

Younge struck out 10 in the win for Hayfield (11-4 overall) and Lane Canny had a triple and an RBI.
