Spring has sprung and traveling season is almost here
Published 7:01 am Sunday, April 5, 2015
At the arrival of the first day of spring, we know that more beautiful weather is in store for us and we are all anxious to get out and start traveling again.
A variety of trips, some one-day and others more extended, have been planned for 2015.
It’s still early in the year so some trips may be added as travel ideas pop up during the year.
Sign-ups have begun and we encourage you to do the same if you find a destination that interests you. Call 507-438-3946 or stop by the Mower County Senior Center, 9:30 a.m. to noon. Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.
This is the current list for 2015.
Please watch for final fee due dates. You may also pick up a schedule at the Mower County Senior Center.
The recent show of “Sound of Music” which aired this past week, with the Von Trapp family will interest you on our fall trip. We will be making a stop in Stowe, Vermont, at the Von Trapp family lodge as we drive the scenic Kancamagus Highway.
