Bernyce Harriet Crowder, 88, of Austin died on Monday, March 30, 2015, at Our House in Austin, Minnesota.

Bernyce was born on Oct. 17, 1926, in Crandon, Wisconsin. She attended school in Wisconsin. Bernyce was married to Wesley Crowder. On May 8, 1964, Bernyce became a licensed student pilot and two days later made her first solo flight in a Beechcraft Musketeer, in which she received most of her training. She also soloed in a Beechcraft Bonanza and a Cessna Skyhawk on the same day. She also owned and worked at several Austin area businesses. For 12 years, she worked with the Hospital Auxiliary.

Bernyce was preceded in death by her husband Wesley Crowder.

She is survived by her stepson and wife, Dennis and Julie Crowder, Austin, Minnesota; grandchildren: Tim and Julayne; and great-grandchildren Chris and Kelsey.

In remembrance of Bernyce, friends and relatives are welcome to the Moscow Town Hall at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 4, 2015, for a memorial lunch and time of sharing.
