BROOKLYN CENTER — Police have made an arrest in a fatal attack at a motel in a Twin Cities suburb.

Brooklyn Center police say a 52-year-old Minneapolis man has been booked into the Hennepin County Jail. He’s suspected of killing a man at the Super 8 motel near Interstate 694 over the weekend.

Police Cmdr. Tony Grueing said officers were called to the motel and found the man unconscious. Efforts to revive him failed and he was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities haven’t commented on a motive or released the victim’s identity.
