Sandra Jean was born on Dec. 9, 1956, in Wells, Minnesota, to Robert and Mavis (Peterson) Schultz. She graduated from Wells-Easton High School and Austin Vo-Tech where she received her cosmetology licensure. Sandy married Patrick D. Sheedy on May 21, 1977, in Wells. She worked as a hairstylist for 10 years in Austin. For 26 years Sandy worked as a jewelry store manager in Austin, Mankato and Burnsville; friends and family referred to her as the “diamond girl.” Sandy enjoyed playing pool, cards, fishing, cooking, feeding the birds, and was a major Minnesota sports fan. Most of all she loved to spend time with her dog and best friend, Annie.

Sandy loved many and many loved her. She enjoyed family and friends and was excited about becoming a Nana – her first grand-baby will arrive in the spring. Sandy loved the “lake life” and made the most of every minute, every day. She will truly be missed on earth and will flourish wherever she lands.
