Two Brownsdale residents were arrested Wednesday morning after law enforcement raided their trailer for drugs.

Mower County Sheriff Terese Amazi said the two were arrested after a lengthy investigation. Brownsdale and Austin police found drugs at the residence and children were present at the scene.

A full report on the incident is pending, but Amazi said methamphetamine and marijuana were found at the trailer, located at Vista Village Trailer Park in southwest Brownsdale.

Both suspects were taken to the Mower County jail and await further charges, which could include storing meth in the presence of a child among other crimes.
