The Hayfield boys basketball team lost its final regular season game of the season 60-45 to Goodhue in Hayfield Friday.

The Wildcats (20-6 overall, 7-1 HVL) made their first seven 3-pointers of the game as they jumped out to a 27-7 lead to start the game. Hayfield (10-15 overall, 6-10 HVL) got as close as 10 in the second half.

“We battled back, but it’s tough to overcome a twenty point lead against a team like Goodhue,” Hayfield head coach Chris Pack said.

Aaron Anderson had 10 points and 10 rebounds for the Vikings.
