The Riverland Community College men’s basketball team stayed in the postseason hunt when it beat Ridgewater 88-78 in Riverland Saturday.

Robert Parker had 25 points and eight rebounds for RCC (13-10 overall, 5-5 MCAC South) and Devonte Miller scored 27 points.

“We attacked the basket real well today and got to the line,” RCC head coach Scott Koenigs said.

If the MCAC tournament started today, the Blue Devils would make the tournament for the first time in at least 15 years. RCC has key home games this Wednesday and Saturday.

“We’ve got to continue to plug away and we’ve got to stay together,” Koenigs said. “If we get those W’s at home, we’ll be in great shape.”
