Blooming Prairie girls closing in on Gopher Conference title

The Blooming Prairie girls basketball team moved one step closer to its first Gopher Conference title in seven years when it beat Medford (1-14 overall, 1-6 Gopher) 57-22 in Medford Tuesday.
Taylor Hagen had 21 points in the win for the Awesome Blossoms (16-2 overall, 9-0 Gopher).
With a win at United South Central Friday, the Blossoms will clinch a share of their first Gopher Conference title since they last won it in 2008. BP has three Gopher conference games remaining and it will win the conference outright if it wins at least two of those games.
