Jack passed away after a long illness, on Dec. 2, 2014, at Maranatha Care Center. He was 79 years old.

He donated his body to Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, for research purposes and will be cremated.

He was the owner of Jax Plumbing in Austin, Minnesota, for approximately 40 years.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Elizabeth Workman, 5415 69th Avenue North, Apartment 134, Brooklyn Center, MN 55429. He is also survived by his daughter Dawn Workman Bounds; his granddaughter Zoe Bounds; and son-in-law Larry Bounds, Minneapolis, Minnesota; daughter, Janay Whisman, Missoula, Montana; granddaughter Karley Whisman, Portland, Oregon; a sister Barbara Herzog and brother-in-law Bill Herzog, Kansas City, Missouri.
