The Hayfield boys basketball team hung on to beat Kenyon-Wanamingo (0-5 overall, 0-3 HVL) 42-38 in Kenyon Friday.

The Vikings (2-4 overall, 2-2 HVL) led 33-17 with eight minutes to go, but the Knights battled back as Hayfield didn’t make a field goal in the last five minutes of the game.
