Greg Hackensmith, of Austin, Minnesota and Courtney Severtson of Blooming Prairie, Minnesota, were married on Dec. 2, 2014, at Marriott Frenchman’s Reef in St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands.

Courtney is the daughter of Marilyn and Jim Severtson. She graduated from Blooming Prairie High School in 2009 and Southwest Minnesota State University with a degree in marketing in 2012. She is currently employed with Coldwell Banker Home Connection.

Greg is the son of Julie and Steve Hackensmith. He graduated from Austin High School 2007 and Riverland Community College in 2009 with a degree in carpentry technology. He is currently employed with Austin Builders Supply. The couple resides in Austin.
