Boys basketball: Blossoms edge out Athletics

The Lyle-Pacelli boys basketball team kept pace with Blooming Prairie, but it fell short 86-75 in Lyle Tuesday.
The Athletics (1-1 overall) were within four points late in the game, but BP (2-1 overall) just had too much depth as five Awesome Blossoms scored at least 10 points.
“If we can play with them we can play with anybody, and we were right there,” LP head coach Dean DeBoer said. “The effort is there, but our lack of depth caught up with us tonight.”
Jordan Hart had 21 points for LP and Noah Jiskra added 20 points. John Rumpza had 21 points and nine rebounds for BP and Anthony Nelson chipped in 20 points.
BP 43 43 — 86
