Austin boys hockey team tops St. Paul Highland Park

The Austin boys hockey team won its second straight contest when it beat St. Paul Highland Park (2-8 overall) in the Waseca tournament Tuesday.
Four different players scored goals for the Packers (2-9-1 overall) as they held a 60-13 shot advantage. Noah Bawek picked up his first varsity win in net with 11 saves.
“We got a lot of shots and made a lot of scoring chances,” Austin head coach Erik LaRock said. “It would’ve been nice to put a few more pucks in the net, but I’m happy with the way we played and the way we moved the puck around.”
Isaac Arnold had two goals and an assist for Austin, Adam Maxfield had a goal and an assist, and Blake Halsey and Dan Larson each had one goal. Trevor Stevens had two assists and Kenny Ree, Daniel Bollingberg, Jace Greenman and Maxfield all had one assist.
