The Blooming Prairie Awesome Blossoms boys team rode a big second half to a 83-71 win over Triton Friday night.

The Blossoms got a big night from John Rumpza and Anthony Nelson who scored 21 and 20 points respectively. Rumpza also tore down 22 rebounds.

“We were able to overcome a 10 point first half deficit to get a tough road win,” said BP head coach John Bruns. “The first half we had a few too many turnovers, but we were able to handle their pressure in the second half and get control of the game.”

Scott Romeo and Mitchell Jones each kicked in 13 points.
