The Blooming Prairie boys basketball team opened its season with a 74-60 loss at St. Clair (1-1 overall) Tuesday.

John Rumpza had 18 points, 12 rebounds, three steals and three assists for BP (0-1 overall).

“St. Clair shot the ball very well tonight,” BP head coach John Bruns said. “We did some good things in the second half, but we just couldn’t get the stops needed to get within striking distance.”
