Austin native to perform solo at Hamline Orchestra Concert on Dec. 13

Austin native Martha McDermott will perform as a soloist in the Hamline University Orchestra Concert at 2 p.m. Dec. 13 in Sundin Music Hall.
McDermott is a junior with a double major in music and psychology, is a violinist and currently the Concertmaster of the Hamline Orchestra.
The orchestra will perform classics by Corelli, Mozart, and Tchaikovsky. The program includes: Corelli’s Concerto Grosso Op. 6, No. 8 Christmas Concerto, Mozart’s Symphony No. 35, “Haffner,” and Tchaikovsky’s Waltz and Polonaise from Opera Eugene Onegin.
