Mark Twain is coming to Austin.

Austin is one of four stops for the upcoming VocalEssence’s “River Songs and Tales with Mark Twain” tour. The tour features former WCCO anchor Don Shelby as Mark Twain who will weave the stories of the famous author with songs of the river.

“VocalEssence is energized by the opportunity to bring this production to greater Minnesota this fall — taking this show that highlights the beauty and culture of the Mississippi River on the road will be a joy and an incredible privilege,” said Mary Ann Aufderheide, founder and artistic director, in a press release. “And the chance to partner again with Don Shelby makes it all the better.”
