KIMBALL — The Minnesota State Patrol says a passerby has saved a driver involved in a fiery crash that killed a St. Cloud woman.

The patrol says a 37-year-old female driver died in the crash Thursday near Kimball. Authorities say a minivan was trying to pass on a highway when it crashed head-on with the woman’s car.

The minivan rolled before catching fire. Authorities say 28-year-old David Baxley of South Haven was driving by and stopped to pull a 22-year-old man from Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin, out of the burning vehicle.
