Interstate 90 motorists in Austin will encounter a ramp and lane closure as construction crews repair portions of the concrete roadway beginning Friday, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.

Motorists westbound on I-90 will encounter single-lane traffic between exits 180A and 175 with the right lane closed. Motorists eastbound will encounter a ramp closure at exit 179 to 11th Drive Northeast. There is an 11-foot width limit for trucks westbound. The work is expected to begin Friday, Oct. 10, and be completed by Friday, Oct. 17, weather permitting.
