Walkers participate in the Mower County Humane Society Walk-A-Thon at Shirley Theel Memorial Park on Sunday. The walk raised $11,400 Sunday for the ongoing costs at the shelter, which has been consistently operating over capacity.

The top three money collectors for the walk were Barb Lewis, Jo Verzani and Andrew Gray. The top junior collector was Cassie Nack, who is not pictured.
