Bradley A. Redwing, 53, of Austin, Minnesota, died from medical complications at his home on Sept. 1, 2014.
He was born on May 1, 1961, in Austin, to Alvin and Geraldine (DeVriendt) Redwing. In his youth, Brad was an exceptional hockey player and an extremely talented artist. He was a true jack-of-all-trades, having experience as a plumber, carpet installer, and mechanic. Brad was a sports enthusiast. His greatest joy in life was his two beautiful children.
Brad is survived by his two children, Brannon Redwing and Shannon Redwing, both of Arizona; four grandchildren; his mother, Geraldine Redwing, formerly of Austin; his brother, Troy (Alberta) Redwing, of Kentucky; his aunt, Delores Krulish, of Austin; two nephews, one niece, seven great-nieces and nephews, numerous cousins, second cousins, and his girlfriend, Sheila Lanches, of Austin. He was preceded in death by his father, Alvin B. Redwing.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 3, 2014, at the Worlein Funeral Home Chapel in Austin with Father Adam McMillan officiating. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service at Worlein Funeral Home. Worlein Funeral Home of Austin is assisting the family with arrangements.
