The Blooming Prairie volleyball team swept New Richland-HEG (0-3 overall) 25-11, 25-13, 25-21 in BP Thursday.

Taylor Hagen had 15 kills and eight digs for BP (6-3 overall) and Madison Worke had 11 kills and 11 digs.

“Tonight we came out hard as a team,” BP head coach Gina McLauhlin said. “The girls did a nice job blocking at the net and setting a tone early. In addition, we looked to hit holes in their defense. Taylor and Madison did a nice job mixing up their attack. Once NRHEG adjusted on the floor, our middles were able to hit whatever opened up.”
