Austin girls take 11th in Roy Griak cross country invite

The Austin girls were missing one of their top runners, but they still had a solid day in one of the biggest cross country races of the year.
The Packer girls placed 11th out of 51 teams at the Roy Griak Invite at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis Saturday. The Austin boys took 37th out of 56 teams.
Austin eighth grader Abby Lewis finished in seventh place overall as she ran a time of 20:10.
The Austin girls, who competed without Madison Overby, tallied a score of 396 and Notre Dame won the meet with a 101. The Packer boys had a score of 957 and Lakeville North won the meet with a 165.
