BROOKLYN CENTER, — The parents of a 5-year-old boy want some answers from the Brooklyn Center School District after their son could not be found after school.

The child, Omari Palmer, was eventually found asleep on a school bus after his first day of kindergarten.

Melissa Rittinger said that it’s “the most horrifying feeling in the world” when you don’t know where your child is.
