Renee Mona Viehauser, 85, passed away June 27, 2014, at Sacred Heart Nursing Home, from natural causes.

Renee was born Feb. 4, 1929, to Alfred and Anne (Matasky) Dickhausen. She married Leonard B. Viehauser on Aug. 19, 1948, in Arban, Minn.

Renee is survived by her children, James (Jane) of Rice Lake, Wis., Deborah of LeRoy, Minn., Tom (Jodi) of Minneapolis, Minn., Greg (Christina) of Austin, Minn.; brother Tom Dickhausen of Aitkin, Minn.; and sister Arlene Ruter of Groveland, Calif.; 15 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Leonard Viehauser; sister Elaine; and brother Alfred (Bud).

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, July 9, 2014, at St. Edwards Catholic Church in Austin, Minn., with Father Jim Seffes officiating. Visitation will be held an hour before the service at 10 a.m. Interment will be at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, with the Minnesota Cremation Society. Memorials should be sent to Sacred Heart Care Center.
