The county board is slated to discuss a single-sort recycling system at its regular Tuesday morning meeting.
The county currently requires residents to sort recyclables into bins for newspapers, cans and glass and a bin for plastics. In single-sort recycling, materials are collected in one container.
In other business, the board will hear an update from Mower County Community Health and a summary of the Local Public Health Association’s update on the 2014 Legislative Session.
The board meeting begins at 9 a.m. with human services board, followed by regular business at 9:30 a.m.
