FALCON HEIGHTS —Twenty-eight new foods and six new food vendors will debut at the 2014 Minnesota State Fair, offering everything from deep fried delights on a stick to even some healthy offerings.

Some new foods include: bacon-wrapped turkey legs, beer gelato, bison dogs, Caribbean-style lobster rolls, chocolate desert salami, deep fried breakfast on a stick, Iron Range pierogies, Jello salad ice cream, JonnyPops, Korean barbecued pork collars with kimchi, pizza tots, pretzel curds, schnitzel strips, SnoRibbons and walleye mac and cheese.
