The Lyle-Pacelli baseball team beat GMLOK (2-10 overall) 9-1 in Kingsland Thursday.

The Athletics (8-5 overall) received a big boost from Shayan Qureshi, a foreign exchange student, who had three RBIs in the win.

“It was good to see Shayan have a good game and he came up with two two out hits that were huge,” LP head coach Brock Meyer said. “We finally put it together tonight, played solid defense and came up with some big hits.”

Jordan Hart struck out eight to pick up the win for LP.
