KAUS is asking for new and gently used children’s bicycles through June 15 to be donated to area children.

Bikes suitable for children (pre-K through High School) can be donated at the offices of KAUS Radio: 18431 State Highway 105, two miles south of the Mower County Fairgrounds in Austin.

To coincide with the start of summer, the donated bicycles will be distributed at no cost to families present at the “Bikes For Tykes” distribution event on June 21 in Austin.

KAUS will also accept cash donations to be used toward buying more bikes and biking accessories.
