The Austin City Council is set to move forward to find a new city administrator.
The council will officially authorize the search for a city administrator during its next public meeting starting at 5:30 p.m. Monday.
At their last meeting, council members also decided to hire an outside consultant, specifically former city administrator Pat McGarvey, to help the city in its job search process. The council will also discuss a contract with McGarvey at its work session.
Council members will also take bids for street reconstruction projects, consider buying iPads to use for city documents and meeting agendas, and review several charter ordinances, among other things.
