The Blooming Prairie softball team topped United South Central (1-4 overall) 10-1 on the road Thursday.
Elly Strunk pitched a 1-hitter as she picked up the win for the Awesome Blossoms (5-2 overall).
“When we’re consistent with pitching we’re a much better team,” BP head coach Ali Mach said. “Elly did a good job today and defensively we didn’t make any mistakes.”
BP will now get seven days off before it plays at New Richland-HEG April 24.
“We can regroup, get refreshed and get some practice in,” Mach said.
